Why not get a jet wash to clean the tiles ? Got to be easier than doing it with a bucket and brush.

You can buy scrubbing brushes that go on the end of a drill, saves lots of time

You might as well plaster it because you would get just as good a finish even without any experience this way of doing it is so rubbish… if you're going to continue using this technique you got to make the cement wetter!

Hi Jasper you are getting better at this boxing and cement filling but may I suggest you se a piece of reinforcing steel rood to settle the cement ie poke it about in the wt cement to remove all air gaps etc. I would help clean tiles but I am too far away and don't have the airfare. You are right it is the most mind numbing of jobs.
