Learning along with you mate! 🤛
Hi Jasper, have you tried to jet wash your tiles?
Jasper why don't you try that plastic tile like roof looks really good 👌
🙏☘️😘
You don't need to do it that way just do a line see if it is perfect do another line etc.
Jasper leave the zoots alone until after work 😂
Hi Jasper, check out "Real Algarve Living" on YOUTUBE, he is busy doing the roofing on his old stone house 🏠.
Gotta give it to you, at least you own up your mistake’s, albeit, repeatedly.
Akira was eyeing the stool !=8)
This to will come to pass ….I hope for you every video!
Early in the morning before the sun is up cover up the silver roof liner with old sheets / cloth. Remove them as you lay the roof tile. It will block the heat from being reflection and absorbed. Also, wear a long sleeve T shirt. All the landscape workers in Texas wear them and a wide brim hat.
Jasper you are making videos in real time so why don't you when you come to a job you don't really know about , ask the community who are following you. Use the wisdom of crowds!
So maybe it's a good idea to ask some questions before you start a new job we all want you to succeed and I'll willing to share knowledge with you

Only from mistakes you learn, skin burn needs a lot of cold water or ise. Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 love you guy.
I heard Andy at finca something say when the tiles are wet he can't do anything to fix his roof because wet tiles break easily. I guess that why the tile broke the other day when you put it on the ground . 🥰
Akira is such a faithful companion to you. She is always near you. Zoe is a bohemian 😄
It’s early Sunday morning here, the ensuite shower dripped all night, I “fixed” it yesterday, now I got to fix it again, it’s either that, or listen to my wife complain about the dripping! 😅 Sometimes we got to do things more than once to make it right, don’t feel too bad!
pressure washer to clean the tiles – in no time at all
Ha Jasper, I pay a lot of attention to your learning process. I think your mistakes help many of us not to repeat them. Thank you for all these lessons!!
👍🍀💐
Good job!
I hope you are wearing lots of sunscreen. 😎🥵☠👀
😀
I think you could do a much better job on cleaning the tiles.😁😄
You should have started from the top. It would have solved half of the problems.
Jasper don't worry remember the old saying "if a job is worth doing it's worth doing three times".
Question: Here in Nicaragua they always place 2 batons, one on top of the other, at the lowest end of the roof. This will reduce to some extent the speed of the waterflow coming down off the roof. The same in Portugal?
great progress…….
hope your burn feels better soon x you are almost there! 😊
Are they the write way up lol 😆 doing a brilliant job jasper stay safe me old mucker 👍
That must be bloody hot 😎
Buurman zonder Buurman 😂
should'nt the first batten be double to give the first row the same pitch as the others.
Hey Jasper , you can’t make an omelette without breaking a few eggs😜You are doing a great job. Keep the vids coming.
The problem is that you are a perfectionist .
Making good progress. Tiles are time consuming to clean but lots of money saved by reusing.
Hi Jasper, your only human…..heat and hard work……your a tryer and that's what we love about you. You do the job right and it will last after you and I are gone from this world. Jasper your a hard worker, a fun loving guy with a big heart. The girls look out for you, stay safe, keep your chin up and drink plenty of water, watter. X
Why clean them? It you put them back with the original lichen and other wear marks you will have that rustic look mot in keeping with an old Portuguese village.
As the building may not be square the easiest way to set the tiles is: 1. Attach the top and bottom battens with your choice of overhang. 2. Leave all other battens loose and arrange the left side adjusting the battens as you go. 3. Do the same on the right side. 4. You can then attach all the other battens and tiles will then adjust themselves with the necessary cm +/-
I always screw down battens and tiles and then it easy to move them instead of hard to remove nails. No broken tiles due to over enthusiastic hammering .
Have a nice weekend😎
What district are you in? I'd love to come and help you in sept-oct if you're interested.
