We are in the middle of renovating our house in an abandoned Portuguese village. In this episode i see what the state of the roof is and what we have to do to get fixed. First of is removing the battens. But do we have a replacement rafter for the one that is rotten..? Duarte is continuing on breaking down the walls in the main house. In the next episodes we hope to put in the lintels, do some more cementing and try to fix the rafter.
