More POST-BREXIT TRAVEL Agro and Costs for BRITONS to HOLIDAY Spain, France, and Italy.

More Agro and Costs for Britons to enter destinations including Spain, France and Italy from January…
The new visa for non-EU nationals is being brought in under proposals which were planned before the 2016 referendum for third countries… Countries outside the EU… A proposal that the UK was involved in the making of when it was a part of the club.
Britons who are planning a holiday in the sun to Spain, France, Greece or Italy next year will have to pay extra for the pleasure when a new ETIAS system comes into force.

Under new rules expected to launch from 1 January, any tourists who do not hold EU passports must apply for the European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) before leaving home…

The new document is expected to cost about €7 (£6) and will apply to anyone aged 18 to 70… Remember this does not exempt the 90 within a 180 day rule.

Third Country (British) tourists who don’t have the ETIAS will be refused entry …

I bet many brits who think they are special will think the rules don’t apply to them…

Probably the the sort who thought nothing would change when they put the cross in the wrong box…

A total of 30 countries within the Schengen area, including some of Britons’ favourite tourist hotspots like Spain, France, Greece and Portugal, will require the new document…
To apply, passports or equivalent documents will be needed and for most travellers, the application process should be a formality but some more risky brits could face a wait of up to 96 hours… Ireland is an exception
Even though this is another hassle, Spain expects tourist arrivals to reach 90 per cent of pre-pandemic levels as Britons shrugged off concerns over football shirt bans and fines for shitting on a beach! I kid you not!

  1. I don't think people realize Brexit was just an excuse. It was rich people who said we don't want the riff raff travelling any more, they get in our way. Make them stay at home, in their horrible little suburbs while we enjoy the beauties of the world unmolested. And governments around the world jumped and saluted their orders.

  2. What monumental Brexit boneheadedness! ☠️ Mark Twain/Samuel Clemens once said it is easier to persuade people to a view than to persuade them that the view they hold is wrong.🤔 Sounds familiar currently? 🤔

  3. So really, it's just a case of getting the documentation right. Just like going to any other part of the world. Not a problem, apart from the booze cruises being affected. No more piling your ciggies and larger into the back of the van. Then again, we're not checking anything at the border so it may be worth a punt at the old smuggling game. What do you think Marcus?

  4. Just reintroduce the Holiday Theme Parks. Have them Subsidised for Families on lower income like what the French Government Do.
    Butlins Pontins Heaven
    Used to be a Favourite.
And at the end of each day play the National Anthem.

  5. I hear you about the folks who messed things up for those who voted to remain. Still, on the up side for me at least it brought forward my planned move to la belle France…

  6. Aw didums another brexshit benefit that was put down as project fear, hmm now it comes to pass unlike some Brits that won't pass. Win win for the lucky EU, no more unwanted gammons to🦞.

  7. Brit's can stay at home and go and swim in the cesspool sea, or go into the countryside beside the rivers, and count the turds as they float by. Then in the evening try to find an open restaurant with enough staff, so your not waiting for ages for your meal, ( but not a local seafood one ). Then walk back to your chalet or apartment in the pouring rain, and fall asleep dreaming of when you could go abroad without a care in the World and swim in the clean sea and order a seafood platter. Ah ! Brexit !

  8. Oh poor Spain they will suffer a Gammon shortage no more strapless tank tops, no more rock 🦞s
No more British bangers laying about.. tragic really the culture will just fade away I wonder what Nadine Doris we'll have to say about that?

  9. Just another brexit benefit, and many more are to come, because, well our dear old friends in the British government keep making things more and more complicated. But I have to tell you something Marcus, the most hilarious scene I have ever seen in the last years on TV was some Brits, in a line, at the border services, behind Indians, Pakistanis, Nepalese and other "British Imperial" nationalities amongst others, waiting for their turn to check their passports and be allowed in, while… The EU nationals just passed bye in the same queue as the Portuguese (Irish included of course) – this is was while the news were reporting problems in the airports due to strikes and other stuff.
The look of incredulity in their face was absolutely hilarious, because usually if the Brits have their paperwork in order, its relatively simple to enter, since the UK is not considered a "dangerous country" (like for example, other countries, such as Japan, USA and others, it is not a "British exception"), they just have to take care of everything before coming here with a good travel agency, show the passport with all the necessary paperwork, a stamp and enjoy your vacation.
But, if already the Brits are messing up the simplified procedures we around here have to "safer countries", imagine what they will do with the new systems to be put in place, and biometrics? That will be a feast for the internet Trolls filming these comedies…

  10. ETIAS will track overstay through the Entry/Exit System (EES).
EES will register third-country nationals entering and departing the Schengen Area, identifying anyone who overstays.
So criminals and Overstayers may face repercussions including ETIAS visa waiver denial.
    Exaclty what Brexiteers voted for.

  11. One good thing about ETIAS is that the application isn't auto-approved – prior infractions and unpaid fines are a cause for rejecting the application.

  12. Oh no more eu paperwork, rules, regulations , red tape . Eu is now screwed without that money .imagine bars , restaurants , coffee shops , souvenirs, not to mention bus drivers jobs Taxi drivers , hotels × empty rooms, airport staff in half empty out of town ryan air airports massive european dirupters ..suppose Turkey ent bad and Tunisia is ramping up for a bumper season..me loves cornwall, wales , somerset and its scrumpy .bad wedder worts n all …..mmmmm
