  1. Thanks for showing my photo. The Orcas, I gave to Lee as a housewarming gift, the heron is mine by the same Vancouver Island metal artist. And the crow, I got for 10 bucks at a drugstore/gift store in a small town some years ago.
I am so tired. Like jet lag to finally stop. And have dropped weight like crazy. Need to add a new hole in the belt I bought in Montreal because of weight lost in Europe. Have lost another 2-3 inches at waist since. No vinho verde purchases at these prices are a contributing factor to poundage drop. Glad SMdP meetups are going great guns and other towns doing the same. Maybe we Canadian Gumpers can arrange a meetup here to support each other in getting there.

  2. This was great, I have a few more city/town names to check out. Being within an hour from Lisbon by train, is my goal, at this very early stage. Funny, in my part of the world, few people would still call $500,000 1/2 a million. Any portion of a million sounds expensive, but $500.000 in N California would be incredibly cheap, and would need a lot of work. Very sad.
