They recently moved to Portugal to buy property in the countryside and are traveling to each property in an RV that they bought in Portugal. I love watching your videos and through them I've seen places in Portugal I've never been to, even though I'm portuguese born & bred.
The YouTube channel I'd like to recommend here is Savvy Cat Realty, for those wanting to apply for visas & residency in Portugal. They are portuguese, very professional and experienced on how the system works, they can sort everything from visas, residencies, rentals & buying property, they have specialized lawyers, and their fees are very "portuguese" too. Not inflated prices for foreigners. They'll save you money & worry in your quest.
What I don't recommend is seeking advice from other foreigners that don't know how the system works, and most IMPORTANT… don't give a power of attorney to anyone that is not a professional. Specially people that operate online only and don't have a business address and are not professionals or registered as a business. I'm not going to point out names here, but there are some "sharks" around trying to exploit & fool unsuspecting newcommers.

I love the hiking vids and the chats with immigrants. Destino Portugal do some property videos, I watch them for the estate agent, Paola she is very funny. I have found living in small towns and villages much more expensive than living in London.

I totally share your view about Carl, though the channel is full of useful information, as you pointed out. Need a couple cups of coffee/tea,or play it in the background😂🤣😂

Just keep doing what you do. I love it that you are just you, and you do what you love. Also remember you inspired me to explore house-sitting and we just love it! We are due back to Portugal in a few weeks and we are returning to the Algarve to look after a house and the pooches for the third time! Might even add a video on our channel. 😉

That is interesting, your Portugal living costs being greater than when you lived in London. As you housesit, I thought you were able to keep your costs down.
