I agree they need strong evidence to bring before the courts in order to convict him of "trying to flee".
the documents that they allegedly found his lawyers can easily have those dismissed as they never caught him in the act of using them so at this point those could have belonged to anyone at this point and not his client.
Also the gun they obtain from his vehicle that would be the heaviest charge at this point and if the gun doesn't match the one from the murder incident he will only be facing illegal obtainment of a firearm.
Also that charge of him allegedly trying to bribe a police officer with 2million dollars can easily be thrown out by his lawyers as theres no physically proof of that (no recording) so at this point its his words against the officer and because theres no proof its most likely to be thrown out as well!

Yes, you have to cut through the ignorance. It is also possible to be charged with Murder without being one of the people brandishing a gun. At the moment we don’t know the context of the charges and we are unlikely to know before Court.

As far as the show trial is concerned, I think it would be a victory for the prosecution if more than half of the defendants are convicted. The ones who were incorrectly charged or buss the case because there is no suitable charge in Jamaican legislation, will be picked up in future when there is relevant legislation.

I too believe in keeping an open mind, as it is just as much an injustice to convict the wrong person as to not convict anyone.
