MUSA – European young MUsicians soft Skills Alliance is a European vocational training project for young string quartets. It aims to provide them with entrepreneurial knowledge, skills and competences that are usually missing in their curriculum although fundamental for their professional career. MUSA is addressed to young professional string quartets specialized in the classical chamber music repertoire and composed by musicians between 20 and 35 years old who regularly work together.
The first stage of MUSA has taken place in Italy at the end of September 2021, between Milan and Bergamo. The selected String Quartets, Ãtma Quartet, Azalaïs Quartet, Belinfante Quartet and Quatuor Gabriële have taken part in a week of activities and workshops related to Image Strategy and held by professionals selected by IED – Istituto Europeo di Design.
The musicians have been hosted in residency at Villa Vitalba Lurani Cernuschi (Almenno San Salvatore, BG) where they have also played in concerts, as well as at Villa Pesenti Agliardi (Paladina, BG) and at Castello di Lurano (BG).
