In this video I share my favorite places to live in Portugal based on a seven-week scouting trip my husband and I took as we drove throughout the country. We began in Lisbon, traveled south to the Algarve, then up the center through places like Évora, Tomar and Coimbra, to the north to Guimarães and Porto, then down the coast through Aveiro, Óbidos and several more places as we made our way back to Lisbon.

As always, I make art, but this week I make Dream House Art. The idea is easy: feel the joy you want to experience in your new dream house and place to live—and play with art to bring your vision to life, beautifully. I created Dream House Art before buying a Victorian in San Francisco, five acres in Bend, Oregon and a Craftsman cottage in Marin County, California!

In the same way that athletes use visualization techniques to achieve their goals, “seeing” your dream on a wall is a powerful reminder to your subconscious to make your desire a reality. AND you’ll enjoy your beautiful art while you wait, which gives your enthusiasm and positivity a boost every day! 😊 🧡
