My Off-grid Life in Central Portugal

In this video, I complete the grouting of the tiles, do a little painting and start preparing more bottles for bottle bricks. More piglets head off to new homes and Morten from My Playhouse comes to visit.

  1. Just touching bases with you when you can find some time before the rains come on Wednesday I suggest that you Take that big pieces of plastic you have in your field take it and put it around the well and put some rocks on it to hold it in place so when the rains come all that rainwater can run back into your empty well just a suggestion I would put out all your empty buckets to collect the rainwater Looks like you have some storms coming your way 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞hope you get all the rain water you need👍✌️🤙❤️🇵🇹❤️

  3. great progress Cindy. Do you think you will close in the kitchen before winter rains?
if I wasn't so far away I'd love the come scrape labels off bottles. I've done a ton of them. soaked in hot water and scraped with a box cutter blade. maybe a willing spirit will show up to help with that !! piggies looking sharp. Luke and Sarah are enjoying their little kuni's Much love from Oregon Annmarie

  4. You get an amazing amount of work done in the half week between each video, especially since it's on top of all the daily chores & self-care. I love your tiling. Good many trees & vines are coming back. Please make sure none of the new growth is from the tree's rootstock (suckers, aka thieves) or they will sap energy from the scion (top part). Many are grafted, but probably not the grapes, fig, & berries.
    Your grandbaby has beautiful hair!

  5. Dearest Cindy, I love the variety of chores you do, I am surprised in this heat you are able to accomplish so much! We are baking in southern California! It is on 3 digits for last few days! 🤩😍

  6. Great video this week Cindy! LOVED the pictures at the end of the bambino! What a head of hair! I know you are SO proud! Thanks again for sharing your adventures & your life with us. –Karl from Louisiana (usually email)🥰🤩

  7. I love the tiling around your sink, Cindy. What goodness do you plan on putting in the crocks under your sink? I’ve had one on my wishlist but have only ever seen then without the lids in the thrift stores in America. I’m sure I’ll find one eventually.
