The pig watering system is completed. Oreo goes to pig prison. I continue prepping the wood to start the cordwood wall.

  2. Hi Cindy, things are moving forward so quickly and will make your days much brighter !
Looking forward to seeing you build your log walls as I’ve not seen this process before!
    Have a good week , Laura 🐖🐖🐖🌸🌸

  3. So happy you got back from Norway with no issues!!! And what surprises you came home to! So happy for you Cindy! A big thanks to the Anonymous Plummer and Nick!! And of course to your daughter for the flavored water. When do you think the plumbing for the toilet and sink will be completed? I am looking forward to watching you add the logs to your walls. Take care and see you next time.

  4. Staining the short logs: Why not use a wider pan and simply dip each end into it? Seems more thorough and easier. Yes, a little more stain might be used… but a deeper level of preservation.

  5. Do you ever do any work yourself or just leech of others.
I thought the idea of having your own farm is to do the work yourself, isn't it a fact you never wanted a farm, just a successful YouTube channel 🤣🤣🤣

  6. How wonderful this anonymous plumber is! I would have loved to have seen Oreo plop down on his bottom after touching the fence. You must’ve thrown your arms up in the air and shouted hallelujah!

  7. @Cindy: I just watched a Texan pig farmer talking about the difficulties of electric fences in very, very dry places (at least in the summer). You need to make your grounding rod longer than in other places, make sure the area surrounding the rod is kept moist. And sth about stronger Jules, not just Watt?
I've seen the electric tapes/strands/fences used with a lot of success but wouldnt have thought of those differences in arid places. (if you have time, maybe check his last video out 'Rockin 8 Farm': 'Well Crud | Idaho Pasture Pigs').
I'm looking forward to the pig staying in. 🙂 Think about all the time you will have for other stuff than constantly fixing fences and getting the pigs were they're supposed to be…Good luck!
