Hi guys,

In this video, I talked about work permits for Netherlands Dutch startups. I covered everything about this work permit visa application. A new work permit was created in the Netherlands last year, although few people are aware of it. It will be a pilot program under the term Essential Start-up Personnel.

Employers can now easily recruit overseas talent provided they have a start-up that is inventive and scalable. On the other hand, international workers will have the possibility to work in the Netherlands more readily starting on June 1, 2021, thanks to the residence program “Essential start-up personnel.”

How do I submit a new work permit application? Either the employer or the employee may submit the application. The IND suggests that the facilitator or start-up submit an application in the Netherlands. By doing this, the employee avoids paying for travel to the Dutch embassy or consulate. If startup submits a work permit application, an application for a residence permit is submitted to the Immigration and Naturalization Service by the startup (business) or an authorized representative of the startup (IND).

The employee submits an application to the Dutch embassy or consulate in their country of birth or current residence.The application is sent to the IND by the embassy or consulate. Following the application, the embassy or consulate issues a letter outlining the payment procedures.
