I loved all those beautiful vases. They are hard to find at a good cost where I live. I found mine at a value villiage which is a second hand shop in Canada .The vase was the proper proportion i was looking for but the colors were wrong so i bought some spray paint which is in a hammered copper look. Can wait to do the diy and encorporate into my fall decor!

Regarding Portuguese/English books you can find a few of them on Amazon. I live in the West Coast (Bay Area/Central Valley) were we have a large percentage of Portuguese/Azorean immigrants that have written children books and would be perfect for your girls.

I want to go to Portugal now!!! Soo many great finds!!! Loved the piggy bank, the dried florals and that cute book for Capri!!!

I am Greek but went to a Roman Catholic school where there were a lot of Portuguese students. I understood everything that your husband said. Brought back memories!!! You should teach your children the language like I taught mine Greek. Portugal is beautiful like your family. Loved the store.
