Nightlife in Lisbon Portugal is vibrant, cool and joyful. Bairro Alto at night is one of the best spots of Lisbon nightlife, where most of the best bars in Lisbon are located. But there are other areas in Lisbon with an intense nightlife. Parque das Nações area is one of them.
Created for the World Expo of 1998, this Lisbon area was before a heavy industry land, especially gas and oil industries that contaminated the soils for many decades. After an extreme makeover and cleaning, a new city was born in 98, and we, Portuguese, still call it Expo.
Near the riverside, a series of restaurants and bars are located. Originally, these buildings were part of the many restaurants areas of the exhibition, and the structures are still from those times.
Enjoy a walking tour of Parque das Nações nightlife, starting at the Torre Vasco da Gama tower — also part of the original exhibition, it is now a 5 star hotel with an exclusive rooftop restaurant at the top of its striking tower.
