Really enjoying your videos!! We are in late 50’s and really considering long term rent to see if we could do it .. then buy .. thanks for great content and so entertaining – like the area you are in .
Feeling a little bit of motion sickness with the back & forth panning. 😵💫 Congratulations on your new life change. First video I have watched and subscribed. Not sure I can stomach watching your other videos as my vertigo may not handle it lol Good luck on your future vlogs 🌺
Hello from America. Looks like you have your work cut out for you. Hope you enjoy this sort of thing because there is a lot of it. Just subscribed so get on with it haha
You need to be a little more careful with the camera movement when you turn especially as it can make someone a little dizzy. I think you're new at this and you will get the hang of it 🙂
Nothing is free in this life. That's 35 mins of my precious time and that is worth plenty. Do all those buildings belong to the one unit that you have bought? That will keep you busy and poor for a while but worth it in the end. Exciting times.
Sheep. They are the old strimmers! They are sweet animals too. Ted will have something to do! Where are you that it is so lush? Envious of that gatden!
Just a word of wisdom for you both! You must start looking for the blessings in your new property. If all you see are negative things you soon will be very miserable! A little about me is I left the US and moved to Costa Rica 14 years ago! It was definately culture shock, for sure! I ended up very depressed. Several very negative events took place within a few short years. My husband died very suddenly. I suffered a home invasion where I was held hostage at gun point by 3 armed men, shortly there after my health started to fail. Diabetes, high blood, pressure, a ruptured disc from a fall on a wet tile floor! What helped me most was my faith in God and spending 15 mins. Per day counting the things in my life that I was grateful and thankful for! Today, I am still here and feeling blessed! Many others have moved here and then left after 2 or 3 years! Huge financial hit when you have already retired!
Hi Guys, loving your channel. We are moving to Portugal at the beginning of August, ferry booked. You mentioned your belongings being delivered over, who did you use and would you recommend them please.
That broom was the best tool! It’s amazing what difference a good cleaning makes. You have all summer and fall to make the house comfortable enough. I agree with a log burner as a priority, and a properly flushing toilette!
Your nervous, unsettled dog makes me nervous, please give him a dog bed, blanket or something to settle down on. He's so out of his routine and worried about what you are doing and what's going to happen next. Look forward to how you deal with the many challenges ahead. A nice little property.
Love your enthusiasm and insights. Could you slow down a bit when you pan around? Our eyes can dart quickly from sight to soght, but it doesn't translate when we move the camera around as quickly 🥴. I'm appreciating your steady and not frenetic pace of work 😉.
It’s Portugal camping 2.0 all over again! Albeit the holes, the discovered wood floors look beautiful. And with the 3 windows open, and your good sweep, I can actually begin to see this rooms future. The fruit trees look healthy and the views are stellar, but your closing shots in the courtyard, next to the rose, will become one of my favorite places to take tea I think. Another great video and gentle commentary. K
Alot of work to do Leroy Merlin(Portuguese version of B&Q)will welcome you with open arms I am sure….you will find that there is no insulation in Portuguese houses hence the mould but on a lighter note its very exciting once you get the roofs weather tight the rest will follow can't wait to see it getting habitable….Ted will settle in another thing sorry Ticks are rife out here until next time x
IT SEEMS THAT TEDDY KEEPS PACING BACK & FORTH, WITH STOPS IN FRONT OF YOU BOTH, TO SAY, 'CAN WE GO HOME NOW?'…YOU ARE HOME, TEDDY!…ALL THE BEST…VANCOUVER, CANADA…;)

I would love to see that original grape processing equipment doing its job in the future. The garden was indeed long-winded that day.
The best of luck.
Enjoyed the video, you guys seem like a down to earth couple.
With so much to do how do you prioritize?

is it possible to add sequential numbers to the title of the videos?
Good luck it’s going to be hard work but it’s going to be awesome once done 😁
Ted is a good boy 🤗. The cleaned up areas look promising 👍🏼.
