So many examples of places others as well as you buying these places and they really are piss poor made. Fair play to you for living your dream though. Keep em coming.
Your approach to this project is what makes your channel such a joy to watch. Appreciating every day for what it is makes life so pleasant and you both truly seem to have a great attitude towards everything that makes this project such a great adventure.
You could build a composting bay and put your grass clippings and mulched wood and branches into it for you veggie patch.
You could reuse the cardboard for weed suppression when you plant your veggies.
I am a new subscriber today, enjoying seeing your progress. Did you have to be jabbed to be allowed there?
It would be great to make a wooden deck for your sunset terrace
Hello, love your videos, just a warning wen replacing any gas appliances, legally you should call an gas inspector to check everything and he will give you a paper saying that for X years you are ok. Your equipment is out side so it's not very dangerous, but later on for city hall you might need it. And that gas hose it's not made to be exposed to the elements, you should protect especially from the sun to avoid damaging it. Best of luck.
Glad to see you now have hot water. With the cold weather, we live up a mountain in Spain and my wife always has the electric blanket on and is attached to a hot water bottle 🔥😂Keep them coming, really enjoying your vlogs. PS: The grounds look amazing.
Cleaning up is tiresome work but when you can stop and look at what you've accomplished, it makes all of it worthwhile. Love the views out back. A sunset terrace would great for you two to enjoy after a hard day's work. Love watching you two grow!😁👍
The house and garden are starting to look loved again. As time goes on I feel sure that the whole property is going to be just lovely. Thank you for sharing your new project with us.
Interesting video I am interested to know whats the plan for the older boiler very informative will you fit a carbon monoxide detector nice cooker etc hot water now hard to beat what about a stove that has a back boiler could be a useful tool for winter thanks for sharing your video very interesting
Maybe you can make the desk top from this tig planks from upstairs.
At least you not going to swet out of your bed so i tink it was not for nothing.
Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love you guys. just found you.
That ended too soon 😏 so enjoyed it! Thank you so much for sharing, happy you have a new boiler, love the cardboard insulation idea & its beginning to look nice & tidy. Already counting down to the next vid next week xx
Very nice pick . Congratulations !
sounds like u need job so u can buy things to fix house right
Wow! How you have changed this place! My hat is off to you both! Are their venimious snakes there? I was so afraid for you both! That tall deep grass looked like it would have a boat load of them? Crawling ariund in that attic with all those mouse/rat dropping was more than I could even watch! You both have the true character of our first piligrams that came from your country. I am so inspired by you!
Hello from Texas. Looking forward to seeing your progress. Your husbands treatment with cardboard etc., was brilliant.💕
Muy buena idea el aislamiento, seguro que se notará 👍
Good job with tidying the attic and insulating. It'll be good to have an auxiliary boiler 👍🏼. Good to see you enjoying warm sun outdoors.
Hi guys lot of work to do each little bit is an improvement, like the five star hotel in the loft the little buggers are going to love it up there.nice work on the boiler.
Honesty that is rare(: 🙏✌🤟
Maybe that spare door could replace the warped Adega one?
If you can insulation in the attic same as you would in U.K. ,wintertime is cold and help with summer heat
All looking amazing! Your vines need some urgent attention I'd say if you want them to do well. From the stem knock off any bits trying to grow, then allow a max of 3 branches from each stem, chop the others back. From those 3 branches, knock off any further growth alternately … if you see what I mean, don't allow all the green to grow!
Gosh , you are workers! Looking good! Great idea insulating!
Don’t burn that wood, get a wood shelter up and store the big pieces , the small ones can be for kindling . I store mine in compost , bird food bags . I am sure some of the wood there can be the posts to hold the roof … I agree a roofed decking area, against that wall.Lots of pots with climbers .. Get a small vine plant going… Also runner beans will shade that .

An old good Henry did the job 🙂
I can sympathise with how cold you felt. Years ago we bought a house in a mountain village in Andalucia in southern Spain. The night before we signed at the notary we stayed in a small local hotel and it was freezing – think it was April. First thing we did when we got to the house was check out the heating which comprised 2 gas heaters and an open fire. Within a few days we had decided we needed a wood burner and electric heaters. We had an inset wood burner installed with a built in fan – it was so efficient it heated the whole living floor- just the best investment. We bought olive logs locally which burnt very efficiently. Your insulation idea is a great temporary fix. Good luck with the project, enjoying watching.
When did you come clean to Ginny about the boiler cover? If you build her a desk top, I bet she will forgive you 🤷♀️. 😂Best of luck in your new home. It takes time to get things the way you like them, no matter where we are.😘😘
Just stumbled across your channel. How wonderful this place will be when finnished. The garden has tons of potential! The planks from the attic. When working over head, as a temporary scaffold. Two five gallon buckets turned upside down with a plank between them. Make a nearly perfect height for working on ceilings. Easy to move and cheap! Ladders offer such a limited reach and having a plank to move around on can save time. Thank you for your time and best of luck.
🍻🍻🍻🌸🌸
Lovely to see the progress you’ve made in a short time. In due course you’ll want to prune the low (ground level) shoots on the olive trees as they use energy and nutrients that more usefully go into the olives themselves. Can’t wait for your next video. Is your house far from your brothers place?
So you've got an essential warm weather project- installation. I hate being too cold.
Hi glad u got ur hot water! Just an idea why not get some thick plastic sheeting and staple up below ur bedroom?
I can't hear you very well. 👂🦻👩🦳🧑🦳
Fire hazard 🔥
How beautiful does that look now you're starting to clear the gardens. The trees framing those pretty windows is just fab… You didn't say if your first night under your insulated ceiling worked 😉 lovin this journey 💛
Something worth checking! next to the control box is a plastic fitting! and a cylinder at 45 degree's this houses a water filter! this filter gets blocked and water flow is greatly reduced! and will not light!.. might be worth fitting an in line filter!.. sand in water main…
It takes time to make a house a home. Even cutting the grass makes it look more liveable. Great idea to reuse what you had for insulation. Can't wait to see what you both do next:)
