Interesting video. Two points: 1. Regarding compliance with rent legislation-this is an area where a well crafted blockchain system could come in to ease the compliance issues, render it transparent and less of a hassle for landlords. I see a good market opportunity here for some crypto/blockchain developers to create a say a so called all inclusive "Dapp".
2. My hunch is that the percentage of people owning houses as opposed to renting in countries such Romania and Slovakia is that these tend to be low trust countries in that banks would not readily lend out money to would be buyers. With negligible money being lent out, prices are not hyper boosted by the effects of the fractional reserve money banking system and are thus more affordable.

Prices bounce back anyway especially with properties. This isn’t stocks where you can still be in the red 5 years later
