  1. How disgusting is it, to mention the Vardarska/Skopje and call it the Hellenic name, which it was named for after Hellenic tribes and their traits.
Yes let's misinform people by making them think these Slavs are somehow related to the singular Hellenic Kingdom of Macedonia.

  2. Old english word norþweg is old norse in origin. It's still similar in modern scandinavian languages "nordväg" swedish, "nordvei" norwegian, "nordvej" danish & "norður vegur" in icelandic.
Norway is not based on old english but rather old Norse. So again, the old english word for north way is influenced by old Norse along with a multitude of other english words.
There is a reason scandinavian languages are so similar in structure and words to english apart from all having germanic roots. That's due to the vikings setteling what is now parts of UK.

  3. Britain as a word comes from the old trading routes through the med to Cornwall . It means the land of tin. Which is where the Romans got there name . More research needed on your part there.

  4. Dear Infographics Show, I would like to address the untrue and quite frankly vulgar information in this video about Bulgaria. What you did is one of the rudest things you can say to a Bulgarian, because the Bulgarian population suffered immensely under Turkish slavery(genocide) which continued for over 500 years, second of all we are Christians! Not even that, Bulgarian("Old Church Slavonic") is one of the four official languages used in the church. Later the language and alphabet and Christianity was given to the Russian people by Bulgarian missionaries. Furthermore, there were a couple of Bulgarian countries in different places all around the world. Currently, Bulgaria is the only country in Europe that hasn't changed its name from when it was formed in 681. Furthermore about the bassless accusations that we are Turks. IF YOU did a 5-minute google search about the genetic makeup of Bulgarians you will find that you can't be further from the truth!!!!!! Second of all Bulgarians does not mean Vulgarians this is a legend, due to the fact Bulgaria was a huge strong non-Christian(Pagan) empire in the 9-century, and the other countries to make fun of them used the Latin term with close sounding name due to the Bulgarians not being Christians, ie. "Savages" !

  5. Turkey recently had a name changing back in December 2021, the process of renaming the country began in December 2021, when President Recep Tayyip Erdogan issued a statement saying, "The word 'Turkiye' represents and expresses the culture, civilisation, and values of the Turkish nation in the best way."

And so Turkey is now Turkiye. Türkiye is pronounced tur-key-YAY in English and will now be used universally. Have fun with that.

  6. Scotland, as well as also being known as Caledonia, is also called Alba (in Scottish Gaelic). And you didn't actually mention from where Scotland got its name!

You could perhaps have also included the Faroe Islands in the video. They have a football team.

  7. Armenia is not European! We're a middle eastern country. Let's be honest if we were actually European or white y'all wouldn't allow Azerbaijan attempts to genocide us again for the last two years.

Side note really weird that both my peoples went back to back, Armenia(even though it's not European) and Austria.
