My daughter and I were there last week of September and first week of October and we saw some beautiful Christmas things already in the shops and thought at the time, that we should have left the trip until December but you we are very thankful to experience it through your lenses! not reason I'm up early, writing : has anyonw heard from Greta? is she okay? I looked to see if she showed up on 'announcement video' . i didnt see her. I hated to bring it up. Everyone was so 'high' discussing Morocco. But , I'm here to tell you, I'm concerned about Greta. This storm is …..(I lived in Colo 28 years, saw winter storms, mountain storms, drove over Vail Pass in a Whiteout. This storm tops all. Power out many places, still. If someone knows Gretas cell #, with power out she can charge in Car or extra charger (alot of people dont have) . but……she'd turn off cell , frequently to reserve power . * If someone gives me her cell # I can keep calling her every couple hours. * My thoughts are with her. All/most/many emergency vehicles got stuck. Snow plows were rescuing people. Finding dead people , froze, in their cars. Count is up around 60. it'll top 100…..okay enough. Greta. We can all hope shes okay. Quite a storm. M power did not go out. I am so thankful. I have a pile of wood (literally in my kitchen, emergency….). I have a wood stove. If you hear anything, let me know. my thoughts and prayers are with the girl !!! Shes so sweet.
