  1. Great vlog again guys, Crusoe reminds me of our 7 month old grandson Ted. I have a question from Liverpool UK, now you have settled in Portugal have you had to apply for citizenship and pay income tax there due to Brexit. Cheers stay safe K.

  2. Hello from New England USA. What are your goals for the actual farming ? … crops, animals, etc. Just returned today from a destination wedding-trip to wine country in Northern CA (Sonoma County) and the climate there appears similar to Northeast Portugal. The high summer heat and arid conditions present unique challenges to growing crops other than grapes, olives, and fruits. Not to mention the critters (deer, gophers, jack rabbits, boar, birds) ! All the best …

  3. Hello from Croatia! 😁 I don't have any questions (well, not any that haven't been asked in other comments) but I just want you to know that I love your videos, they are my little treat for when my newborn finally falls asleep 😊

  4. Hi from Gibraltar, how adorable is Crusoe and his two little chicks, to see him running and then stopping to check they were still with him, precious wee lad, and his smile is always a mile wide. Love your table, its just perfect for the space xx

  5. This might be really cheeky, but I know you are answering questions next week. I’m interested to know how you earn your living. I can only assume you have employment which allows you to work from home … or maybe you are lucky lottery winners.
Please forgive me if I’ve overstepped the mark with you curiosity x

  6. Love watching your progress and your family life. You're such easy-going positive people which is very refreshing in today's times. ✨️ Keep up the amazing transformations and hard work. Good luck with everything going forward.

  8. Just for curious and i have to say first i love Maroc tiles and porcelains our culture and language was greatly influenced by Moors they stay here in Portugal and Spain about 3 centuries so this legacy you can find in many places near you a town called Caldas da Rainha and more far in Alentejo are many places but i choose Estremoz(are much more places with same features) worth to visit for so many reasons(great food and wine lakes and beaches and so one) not only the porcelains!!!!!!hug from Lisbon Portugal

  9. O, It's just lovely . It's like watching myself all those years ago, the lemons and flowers in such abundance, arrangements on the table and natures bounty just waiting to be picked and those beautiful little creatures adopting John as dad ………..a cup of tea, a slice of home baked banana bread and an episode of the Newbys can turn a windy Welsh day into a cosy sanctuary. Thank you as always…. you feed me with optimism for my new home.

  10. Hello from Maryborough Qld Australia.
Firstly, when you finish renovating your houses have you considered running a b&b / guest house. And also what are your ideas for the farm. Will it be a hobby farm, market place etc. I enjoy growing herbs in pots.
Secondly, have you ever considered running your own tours / expeditions. With your vast knowledge, experience and stories you would make a wonderful tour guide.

  11. I guess a question I have would be, without being too nosy I hope!! Do you have other income apart from YT and Patreon? BTW I am in Australia and you know me by name. Hopefully I have fulfilled your criteria. God Bless. H

  12. I watching your videos for the first time and I am from Estonia. First video was about van life and now I found that farm life video.
Cool family and cool projects .
    More power to your elbow!

  13. Lovely job and great choice of tiles and carpets. The first farm critters are great addition and it won't be long before you're eating your own home grown eggs. The table will always be your centre piece I reckon. God Bless. H

  14. Hi John, Tarra and Crusoe, we love following your adventures and now your beautiful property in Portugal with all your renovations and garden changes. We are from the land down under or the South Island in New Zealand. We are grandparents but love watching little Crusoe grow and expand his learning and development in such a beautiful place. We are looking forward to meeting your new member of your family in September. Barbara and John ❤
