On July 11th – Dad, Jack and I headed to go and watch Blues play in Portugal! A three day trip in the southern town of Albufeira where we saw for the first time Blues play abroad. The game ended as a one-all draw against Portuguese first division side, Portimonense. Despite going a goal down early on, Blues played decent in their first 2022/23 outing in front of fans. We kept ahold of the ball nicely, and played well in spells. But neither side could find another goal to get the win.

The three of us enjoyed the nightlife of the strip, and the culture of the old town. Experiencing what Portugal had to offer. It was a shame we were only away for a short time, yet we made some great memories and enjoyed meeting some new people too.
