mega evolution is by mega *stones.
the weapon is powered by Xerneas/Yveltal.
Xerneas' signature move *Geo*mancy draws energy from the land, and a *geo*de is a rock with crystals inside.
Zygarde is their trio master & keeps the balance, is Ground type, & their signature move Land's Wrath also draws energy from the land.

and only 1 Pokemon introduced in Gen 6 could mega evolve.
Diancie. the living diamond crystal.

Necrozma. the living black crystal.

I think that the crater is in the map because of King AZ's Ultimate Weapon. I also think that Kalos is actually divided into 2 because if you compare the map of Kalos and France, you would see that Kalos doesn't have Southern France and The Kalos War in my opinion proves my theory even more. In the past, there have many countries breaking apart from other countries/empires for many reasons. I think that Kalos wasn't Kalos vs an Unknown region but Kalos vs Kalos. I would call the 2 sides The Monarchists (AZ's side) and the pro-republics. Kalos used to be a united region ruled by King AZ however the pro republics are fed up of AZ's rule and wanted to stop Monarchy in Kalos. So the Kalos War began. So what will Paldea do? Paldea in my opinion sided with the Rro Republics because if they side with The Monarchists, why would AZ's fires the Ultimate Weapon on Paldea. And you could say that Galar and other regions unnamed were involved in The Kalos War too. After the death of King AZ's Floette. He fired the Ultimate Weapon on Paldea since they were the main supporters of the Pro-Republics and hit the former capital city of Paldea region which used to be in the center of Paldea region because my theory is that they are making and are ready to send an army of Pokémon to give to the Pro Republics. After The Ultimate Weapon was fired, Paldea lost millions of people and Pokémon in the city and the former capital city of Paldea was turned into a crater of mist and it devastated the people of Paldea and their descendants for the long term. So after the war, both sides made peace so that they don't repeat the past and make a as worse of even worse than The Kalos War.

Hi Ace. Knowing GF, we all know they thought about all of these headlines you talked about in this video. I stopped believing in a second region postgame since a decade now, really. Never gonna happen even though they were both connected by a tremendous event in the past. The cloudy area we see on the map is just the DLC zone to me. Never gonna called it "South Kalos" but just "North Paldea" if ever I was right. Nice topic anyway. And I was kind of thinking the same a few days ago. It seems, from the beginning of Pokemon, everything is related to cristals and stones and meteors and such… At the end of the day, Teracristalizing make sense!
