I spent about 1 week in Porto and Lisbon as my Europe backpacking trip comes to an end! I started in Porto where we explored the city, walked along the waterfront, and admired the beautiful tiles all over the buildings. We had some amazing seafood (cod, monkfish), sangria, and obviously Portuguese tarts here. There were also some fantastic sunsets over Porto!
After Porto, I continued to Lisbon where I was surprised at how steep the hills were! We explored all the neighborhoods (Alfama, Chiado, Baixa, Barrio Alto) and checked out some fantastic viewpoints. We also took a tram to Belem and had the famous Pastel de Belem, see the LX factory, and explore the outskirts of Lisbon.
This concludes my 1-month backpacking trip in Europe across Italy, Switzerland, Spain, and Portugal. I’m going to miss traveling in Europe, but for now, I’ll be in Toronto eating delicious Asian food!

When I was in Porto, I was scared to cross that bridge 😔 the wind was blowing like crazy, I didn’t feel safe at all.
