There is exactly one ferry between Madeira and Porto Santo islands, the ship is called Lobo Marinho. A return ticket in low season costs € 48.60 per adult.
To spend time en route, the ferry has a couple of restaurants, a children’s room and a playroom. However, there are no electrical sockets and wifi on the ferry.
First stop at Quinta das Palmeiras. This is a mini-zoo, a mini-botanical garden 5 km from the capital of the island. Nice place to spend 1-2 hours.
