A trip to remember! Thanks to @Chakagolf and PGA Professional Jacques Gous, our small group of 7 enjoyed 5 nights at the Morgado Golf Resort. The venue for the Portuguese Open, which is being played as I type this description.

The Morgado course gives a true test of your long and short game skills and boast very true greens. It’s an ideal place for groups and couples to get away from the busy towns and relax in the 5* resort. The courses are suitable for all standards of golfer with forgiving fairways and a host of uniquely designed holes to keep you on your toes with club selection – course management is key on this course and it makes

We were slightly unfortunate with the weather and when the wind blew it was a real test of golf. Both courses will leave you wanting more and to get back and beat your last performance on that particular hole that you just couldn’t quite get right.

The courses in warm, calm weather are very score-able for mid-low handicappers. Depending on wind, certain hazards may come into play and the winning score this week on the Morgado. could be very interesting.
