@Suse and @Darren. Don't come to Canada. I went to see what the trucker riots were all about. Couldn't find any so I guess I wasted my day. CBC and CTV were there and honestly they were pointing there cameras away from the crowds. Talked to a guy who new the protestor who waved a Nazi flag, his point was that Canada was becoming fascist… not at all in favour of it. Fences were put up by the government around the war memorial. I saw the veterans peacefully and carefully remove them. Their point was that it belonged to them and they refused to see it blocked. They then posted a guard of veterans 24/7 to keep it open.
I had been following the national tv news but what I saw was totally different. It sickened me at the falsehoods that are being told. Don't believe anything until you check it out with your own eyes. All the political parties are propagating untruth. Very disappointed.
Banana slug asked rhetorically what masks are for. Good question since the Covid-19 particle is approximately 1/1000 the diameter of a human hair. If the particle was one foot long, the hair would be 3 football fields thick. We should follow the science.
Regarding Gilda's question about the war causing me to rethink a move to Portugal, this American is still planning to move to Portugal. Enjoyed the show today!

Gilda is looking at regular people, indeed. Oligarchs are something else. But obviously, the Golden Visa opens the doors to oligarchs which are very few and the object of the controversy for obvious reasons. Gilda is a person with a very huge heart which is rather common within the Portuguese community and I’m sure that sense of community will help the vulnerable to stay safe once the restrictions are lifted. Portugal is the most vaccinated country in Europe.
