PORTUGAL FARM LIFE in Central Portugal – Building Our OFF GRID Goat Farm. What is our future?

This week at Quinta Fonte da Pipa we share a few plans and the huge amount of work ahead of us while we build our off grid goat farm and new milking parlour we will be running the entire goat operation via solar power.
Alex has lots of work ahead once the heat finally moves on for another year, building, fencing, repairs and lots more before we can start selling our goats milk.
Molly shows you her collection of Singer sewing machines and her plans for the winter months.
Sorry we had to do voice overs on part of the video, Fred broke our microphone😄

  3. Hi guy's, you're a hard working family with many talents. I'm driving down to your area shortly and hope to find inspiration for a future life in your region. Learning a lot from you and other vloggers…. I'm going to visit Cindy and hope to see you all. Regards Rickard from Sweden 🇸🇪

  4. 5. Great vlog Alex, Sandra and Molly 🌟☺️🌟. Love your vintage sewing machines Molly and particularly your lovely quilt. I'm a keen crafter too and love to see what others are up to. Great shot with the hay bale through the barn door 👌👍. We get quite a few western whip snakes here in SW France, and as you say Alex, they too are quite harmless. Good luck with your tests Molly xx

  6. Wonderfully presented video, you explain your projects, interests, conditions really clearly. Molly, hoping your test results net a good diagnosis and treatment if needed. You are a young lady of many talents, a chip off both your parents' blocks. The quilt you featured is beautiful, and your other items are so clever & cute. Lovely filming, Sandra. Having a regular day off goes a long way to keeping balanced and healthy. I know it's hard to take time to recharge (i care 24/7 for my elderly mom and our silly asthmatic kitty😺), but i'm certain time away from work is absolutely worth every moment, it helps keep us grounded. You more than deserve to fish solo or with great friends as you like, Alex. 💖 Thank you for sharing your life.

  7. I strongly recommend you go fishing to help recharge your batteries, just for a few hours. Then you can make a list of things you can work on. Don't add things you can't do yet. You can have another list of things you can do when fire restrictions are lifted. I have to have a list to cross stuff off on when I'm too busy just so I can feel accomplished. That recharges my batteries too. Great you got hay!

  8. Molly you are extremely talented. I love. Love the idea of the soap saver. The sewing machines are beautiful. My mother had one of those. Here’s to getting good news about your tummy ailments. Best wishes, and to all keep on keeping on. ❤️

  9. Thank you Alex,Molly and Sandra 🧡🧡🧡. Just keep going..the hard work you put in is reaping rewards. Look how healthy your goats look. How great your Barn looks.
It will keep you a lot younger than just sitting down..with no ambition.
Trust Alex to send in his secret weapon Molly…to great success look at the size of that Bale!.
Quilting is a fabulous skill..beautiful Molly. Sending positive thoughts for a manageable outcome on the 6th Molly.🥰 I am having a cataract removal in4 weeks……Don't let the summer disappear without even 1 fishing day Alex..Just do it..recharge your batteries 🥰👍🐟🐟🐟

  10. you really do need to rake some quality me time, it's tough and can feel overwhelming. I've seen other channels get sponsored by mental health professionals, can you try looking into that? Good luck and do take care ❣

  11. you have a lot of work to do in front of you and I just know that you'll do it! I totally agree that it can be really overwhelming but take it one step at a time! (I noticed that Cindy Vine, has a board where she writes the jobs she needs to do, and then crosses them off as they're done, and that helps her.)
