From the 350k Golden Visa investment option, we’ve reached a point where it’s nearly impossible to get the application process completed in time before the end of the year unless the investor already has a Portuguese Tax Number and Bank Account in Portugal.

However, it is still possible to invest in the 500k Golden Visa option because it allows for some of the application steps to move forward from the lawyers’ accounts. For that reason, it is still possible to apply to the Portuguese Golden Visa Programme, through the €500k property investment option until the end of the first week of December 2021, providing the investor has an efficient lawyer and the necessary documentation in place.
