We got a tweet from a viewer suggesting that we visit Portugal’s Parque Das Termas Da Curia. Since the Bussaco Forest is closed for maintenance because of hurricane Leslie, this place located about 10km north of Mealhada was a great alternative suggestion. We of course had to get some park time in with Story first, but we were soon walking down beautiful tree lined roads and surrounded by beautiful red Autumn leaves falling around us.
Parque da Curia is directly opposite the Curia train station so it’s easily accessible and has some amazing buildings in the area including the Curia Palace Hotel and the Hotel Termas Da Curia. We spent a full afternoon walking around and it was a fantastic local discovery.
