We arrived back to find the foundations almost complete. Still a bit of work to do in the internal areas, to kill the weeds and get a vapor barrier gravel down. We are still trying to knock back weeds and sort out all the wood we have cut from the trees etc.

Some areas of the ground need to be raised to accommodate access and for our disabled daughter-in-law easy access, and some of that will come from the area that will be dug out for the car port, and some other shipped in from other projects., so it may seem a bit high, but it will blend eventually.

We had a nice catch up with the architects about the construction steps coming next…
