
Portugal’s prime minister has won a third consecutive term in office.
Antonio Costa’s governing Socialists secured a parliamentary majority in Sunday’s snap election.
The far-right Chenga party was also able to make gains in an election campaign that focused on jump-starting the economy after two years of pain from the COVID pandemic.
