Once you leave the old town the magic dissappears for some strange reason i drove all over for days out the only place we liked outside the old town was zoomarine its like seaworld with its own water park beach and wave machine but we always went back to the old town for dinner time you just can't beat the atmosphere and welcome in the old town

You should definitely visit Alvor. My holiday heaven in Portugal 🇵🇹

You will love praia da rocha the beaches are stunning and the nightlife is just busy enough, I loved it there

Quiet , family area Portamao. Lovely hotel, Residencial Arabi or more busy Praia Da Rocha. Alvor is also lovely, depends what your personal taste is and what you're after.

Thanks Kevin looked a really nice place but couldn’t stay there, as for the library, where I live the books would have been flung out & set on fire & god know what would have happened to the library itself, probably no yobs in Portomao xxx

It looks a lovely little town but l don’t think I’d want to stay there for a holiday…. Maybe a day trip would be ok.We have those phone booth style libraries around where I live ( small market town in Shropshire)and they’re fine, but they wouldn’t last five minutes in my home town of Manchester. They’d probably be set on fire!🙄

Sorry I can't help you Kevin but good luck and hope you find somewhere comfy. I actually love the quiet authentic places and glad you like walking around in different places, I'd go for a peaceful, pretty place every time. Thanks for doing such a variety of videos for everyone, never been to Portugal but it looks lovely.
