The Portuguese Residence Permit for highly skilled professionals, including teaching professionals, cultural promoters, highly educated and tech professionals, consists of Article 90, faster than regular residence permissions in Portugal.

The residency permit for highly competent activity in certified companies (Tech Visa) permitted frameworks can be processed by the applicant or by the hosting entity/company without prejudice of the “EU Blue Card” (in this case, preferably by electronic means).

An application must be submitted personally on a standard form signed by the applicant or their legal proxy at any SEF’s directorate or regional delegation, which, after proceedings and judgment, can forward it to the directorate or regional committee of the applicant’s area of residence.
