Hello dear friends!

My name is Hugo and this is my first ever Youtube video!

My objective is to create a collection of videos I call “Portugal Rural Life”, where I’ll try to show you Portugal rural off grid life from my point of view.

In this first episode I show you a little bit of my grandparents region, near Castelo Branco, where my family has little bits of olive and pine trees land.

We also have my grandparents former house where I escape from de city every time I can (Lisbon, where I live and work). Despite not being visible, the foundations and walls of the house are still made of shale/schist stone, with the good and bad that this entails.

Even with the work here and there to improve the house and surroundings (and no sufficient time to do it), stress, anxiety and depression rapidly go away here! Many big tools would help a lot (and I mean a lot!), but we don’t have the money to buy them so… I do what I can!
