Over a 2-week road trip we explored the beautiful castles, incredible history, and rugged coastline, from Lisbon to Sintra down to the world-renowned Algarve beaches and caves, and then all the way up to the rolling vineyards of the Douro Valley wine region in this fascinating slice of Europe.

The word “Fernweh” in our channel name is German and translates to “the ache for distant places”.

  14. 9:45 Poor kid. Olives direct from the Olive tree are very very sour. 😂
    1st you need to let them "bath" several days in water with high salt concentration, garlic and herbs.
    Change that "bath water" several times during that period until they are ready to eat.
    PS. Our Portugal is amazing, isn't it?! 😉
