You can take the bus to Lisbon about 5 minutes walk from that square in albufeira from the bus terminal. It takes around 2 and a half hours but Lisbon will blow your mind. Amazing place. Its absolutely huge. Keep up the good work. 👍

Stayed in Pria Da Rocha for a long weekend some years ago. It was early May and the weather was just terrible. Not much to the place. Had a couple of good nights in some irish bars but then I am Irish. Another good one from you Kevin.

I would highly recommend Lagos , just down the road

Olhos d agua is a really nice picturesque village
The way to the beach there are a a few pubs bars restaurants you can walk
Around it in about 30 minutes .
Takes 10 minutes to get there by taxi from old town albufeira
From olhos you can get bus or taxi to vilamoura .vilamoura and neighbouring resort quarteira are busy of a nighttime
Vilamoura marina is full of pubs bars snd restaurants

The bus to Alvor runs along the dual carriageway, that's parallel to the Strip. 1.5euro. every 20mins. Alvor is a very scenic walk along the cliff tops, takes about an hour.

Hello Kevin. Great to see PDR again. You mentioned there were no direct buses from PDR to Alvor. Thats quite right. I was told many years ago its because it would take away most of the taxi drivers busines so it wan't allowed. Hope that helps Regards Helen

Cheers for posting bud, memories flooding back! Was there 21 years ago and cant believe how much its changed. If you kept travelling along the path you were walking there is a great Marina with brilliant restaurants. Enjoy.

To answer your question at the end of the vid from what I saw having been there myself you pretty much covered the resort, it's basically a one street town there are a couple of bars off the main drag but Albufiera it's not, the main problem with the resort is how far it is from the airport transfers are quite expensive and for god's sake don't catch a taxi from the airport. I mean why would you go all that way and pass Vilamoura and Albufiera.

You should definitely go to Alvor, nightlife is brilliant. Los Puros Cuban bar sells the best mojitos ever! Visit Pestana Dom Joao II Hotel, it's on the beach. Alvor is a brilliant resort, lots of great bars and everyone is really friendly

Beautiful beach for sure and the street with the bars looked fine, but I’m not getting the vibe that I got from Albufeira Old Town. Maybe it’s because Praia de Rocha doesn’t appear to have a central point or much character … so far. I may be proved wrong.

Best beach in Portugal Kevin,Have a look in Casino Royale Hotel, you don't have to be staying in Hotel to go into Casino,Hotel looks down onto beach.enjoy Kevin.

Hi, Kevin you have not done the place justice been to Playa da Rocha many times. You need to carry on from where you ended on the main Street, where you will come to a very old fort with spectacular views of a boating Marina. The marina provides water taxis to PortImao and there are other boating trips on offer. There you will find many different restaurants also before the marina is the Casino hotel, which also has a large casino and the hotel hosts very good entertainment. There is much more to see in Playa da Rocha including the fabulous beach and many sea front bars and restaurants a long the boardwalk.

The beach is beautiful there I love the location of those hotels and the police station near by .
Albuferuria old town is beautiful I preferred it there I really will go there at one point…but the beach is better were you are though. Great vlog Kevin thanks it really helps me .💙

I think if you started there first then went to albueifera would have been better as Albueifera is much bigger! There is a few couple of other small streets if you Google squash restaurant, titanic restaurant, food amazing and where you started this video, if you turn back on yourself there is pubs along there right to the end, Taffy's Welsh bar etc….
Get back to albueifera and go to Santa Eulalia just off the strip ha ha …great videos!!!

Ah Kevin another gem and there are bars down some side roads in PDR and if you go to alvor the dunas hostel is only 21 euros tomorrow night on Priceline to which I found on trivago so look forward to more videos

Kev get down to Alvor it’s a nice place. We regularly stay there when over playing golf. Not a big resort but plenty of bars and restaurants to keep you busy.

That avenida hotel looks ok £44 a night and you are right in the centre, Did look a bit quiet compared to albufeira but some people prefer a more relaxed resort.

Love Praia da rosha can't wait to go in September staying in the Jupiter hotel
