HOW TO GET TRC CARD IN PORTUGAL IN ARTICAL 123-A
In Portugal, the TRC card (Carta de Residente Comunitário, or “Community Resident Card”) is a document issued to non-EU/EEA citizens who have a right of residence in Portugal under Article 123-A of the Portuguese Immigration and Borders Code (Código de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras, or CEF).

To apply for a TRC card under Article 123-A of the CEF, you must meet the following requirements:

You must be a non-EU/EEA citizen who has a valid residence permit issued by another EU member state, or who is the family member of an EU citizen and has a valid residence permit issued by that EU member state.

You must have lived in Portugal for at least five consecutive years, with a residence permit issued under Article 7 of the CEF (permanently resident third-country national).

You must not have any criminal record in Portugal or in any other country.

To apply for a TRC card, you will need to gather the following documents:

A completed application form (Formulário de Requerimento de Emissão de Carta de Residente Comunitário, or “Application for the Issuance of a Community Resident Card”). This form can be downloaded from the website of the Portuguese Immigration and Borders Service (Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras, or SEF).

Your passport or other valid travel document.

A copy of your valid residence permit issued by another EU member state, or a copy of your family member’s EU citizenship certificate.

Proof of your residence in Portugal for at least five consecutive years, such as a certificate of registration at the local town hall (junta de freguesia) or a utility bill in your name.

Two recent passport-sized photographs.

Payment of the required fee (currently €5).

To submit your application, you will need to visit a SEF service center in person. You can find the nearest SEF service center on the SEF website.

If your application is successful, you will receive your TRC card within 30 days. The TRC card is valid for five years, and can be renewed as long as you continue to meet the requirements.

It is important to note that the TRC card is not a work permit, and does not allow you to work in Portugal. If you wish to work in Portugal, you will need to apply for a separate work permit.
