I think UK is still the best. They are faster and more straightforward and Visa has a low rejection rate. I think UK is good stepping stone. Get here first then go to Canada, US etc

I want to believe recession is everywhere . Uk is just making waves because of its popularity and pounds. In as much as you live a simple life you should be fine. besides if one move, who's to say you will not see something to complain of. My dear no perfect place. Honestly I believe they might still bounce back and again considering what’s happening back home, I’m sure a lot of people would still want to travel to UK or May be Canada and other countries 😂

Uk in recession is still better than Nigeria, there are jobs there , atleast you earn salary, everything is hard but in all I prefer Uk
Uk should only be a stepping stone to get to better countries. UK economy strive only on how much tax they can get out of its people especially immigrants. To apply for work visa, you pay through your nose, schooling the same, and to even apply for ILR, you still pay huge sum. Uk will practically milk you for all you worth!!
Why not try and bring your granny if you have any of them. Childcare is mouth sealed!
