Hey to everyone!!
We are two young adults, Despina 22 and Deivids 23 renovating an old farm house from 1817 in Latvia.
Everything in and out of our house has been done by ourselves with no hired help.
DIY is going to apply to nearly everything in our house. Our budget is tight and that has made us appreciate every “ugly” part of this house and turn it into something new and beautiful.
We give new life to things that others would throw away!
In this journey we are not alone! We are starting up our little Farmily:
5 Goats & 6 Goat Babies
3 Sheep & 3 Sheep Babies
4 chickens
1 Rooster
and 3 Geese
Oh yeah and our cat Ivi
Despite our daily problems we are two young people full of joy and happiness, ready to start a new crazy chapter in our life. It wouldn’t be fair to keep this fun just for us!

I would put the door on the left side of your foundation and put 2 windows in the front. I don’t know which way the wind blows but hopefully on the left it’s more sheltered. If that side gets sun it will heat that room up a lot during the winter giving your home a nice air curtain and you could use the porch to start plants for your garden in spring like a small greenhouse.

You operate the mixer incorrectly, one side is for mixing and the other side is for emptying. that is, if i mix as shown, you only have to turn the drum to the other side 180° and the drum is taught. = Du bedienst den Mischer falsch, eine seite ist zum mischen und die andere seite ist zum entleeren. dasheist wenn ich mische wie gezeigt muß mann die Trommel nur zur anderen seite drehen 180° und die Trommel wird gelehrt.
The door should be as facing the house, on the left with a minimum of 30 cm from the outside wall to allow for full opening. I’d ensure the door is at least 39cm wide, Personally I’d make the door 140 and add a widows along side the door to give a wow look.
In my country we can't build a bathroom on the second floor unless if there is a bathroom down because of the piping

Why must you remove the wooden box. Wouldn't it be better to just put a lid on it to better get to the plumbing should anything need replacing or repair. Just a thought.

I would put the door in line with the front door. If you have to move things in or out it would be easier. Love you kids! Great job as always ❤❤
If you decide to place the door inline with the existing door, and a window to balance things out. Maybe you should consider putting in a window where you can have potted plants. I believe this would make the door look beautiful. Giving a magical look as you enter the room.

I would put the door on the (L) side of the wall to main house. It will be different than what you said but it would be nice. It would open up even more room. Than you can build a screen in porch down the front house.
I thought in the middle , so the air doesn't go directly into your house, from our side. When one door opens.
