  1. A real Kip of a place but like yer man having the moan earlier it’s probably descent by local standards and and 38 euros for you which is slot more than many locals earn working a day. Good vids Kevin good on ye. Awful weather in Dublin this week

  2. I am italian andknowenglish but I funny it is so hard for me to understand you!!!!It is the first time I heard scottish of course. I live in Albufeira and know the problem you had best thing to does to find a room in the high part of the city called Montechoro, no pubs or night life here so quite summer nights:)

  3. It's always a matter of location, season and price. The shutters always have a cord or electrical switch on the side to go up and down, pushing it by hand will damage the shutters.

  4. Had to smile, "If I crawl under here and the shutters come all the way down, I am in the Columbus Apartments in Praia Da Roche ……………..Phone somebody and tell them I am here" …………..Oh Dear Kevin, you do pick them

  5. Have to say Kevin your a man that has lots of luck (BAD) 😃😀 but I have stayed in PDR a couple of times and there are much nicer hotels there and as cheap .it's a pity you didn't venture a few miles down the road to Alvor as think you would have liked an afternoon there for good few videos maybe no rock bars but it's a lovely area but thank you

  6. On Kevin disaster something out of laurel and hardy that's a fine mess you got yourself into.you should start asking to see rooms before you pay anything.that bed and pillow looks dodgy don't think I could stay in it horrible place I feel for you

  7. 👌👌👌👍……..At least you know for next time stick to Albufeira…..you can use as base to get to other area's all short taxi rides or bus rides. Villamoura, Loulle, quarteria. montechero strip, club playa de ora. etc.etc.

  8. Hi Kevin that studio apartment looks like it stuck in the 70's definitely not the best but if your only staying one night it's OK. Stick to Albufeira mate. Just pack some ear plugs next time you go for the noisy neighbours. Great video Kevin. All the best pal.

  9. Knowing your bad luck it’s a wonder the picture didn’t drop on your head when you were asleep Kevin, or the shutter on the balcony dropping down when your outside, you should pay a little bit more and get a better apartment, we know your on a budget but you deserve better

  10. It looked clean Kevin , but the Shutters were 🤔 are you good at LIMBO DANCING 🕺🏼, that is scary , if it comes down it’s HELP. Your correct , your on a Budget , your busy doing videos , you don’t need the luxury, cheep, clean . Perish the thought once out there and Shutters come down .

  11. Praia de Rocha used to be lovely but in recent years it has become very run down. I think the focus is now on Alvor. We last stayed in the Solomante apartments. Not what was advertised. Worst accommodation ever.

  12. You perhaps need to do more research on the reality of how large numbers of native working class
Portuguese live in PT! Why do you think tourism is relatively cheap here? The whole nation is less
developed because of its political/social history of facist governance…perhaps you should read about
its history and you may understand more than you obviously do. Your apt would be considered pretty average for
PT working class people in urban areas. It's hard to listen to some ignorant tourist who has been enjoying the
beautiful tourist areas (that do not necessarily benefit many of the average locals) ignorant of the reality of PT
society as a whole! Check out the true average wage (not the bullshit economist websites put out) here vs UK, you
may be surprised….if it mattered to you?

The Portuguese society still has the old values of strong family/community ties and relationships, you don't see gangs
of rowdy knife carrying teenagers roaming the streets because of these decent family/social values. Parents still
take loving care of their kids here, a foundational reason why PT crime rate is much, much less that UK/Scotland!
So, either get yourself more educated on the realities of the (whole) country you are in or stick to shallow tourist
areas where people like you can loudly do what you do without being annoyed by the true local world, then go back
to your life in UK and complain that there were not enough 'all day English breakfast' troughs for you.
I'm not Portuguese by the way, so it's no good slagging me off as a aggro local….they are too decent to do that!

  13. Lol 😂 aww Kev I’ve been in worse the solmonte apartments have a look in there that’s scary thought would be cheap and cheerful cheap yes cheerful not !!! Don’t recommend
