A praia Grande faz parte do enorme areal de Pera. Esta praia já afastada do centro, na grande baía, com muito menos gente do que as zonas de areal perto da vila.

Com amplo estacionamento e dois calçadões bem construídos, o acesso é muito fácil. Quando você chegar lá a praia parece se estender para sempre em ambas as direções. Como resultado, nunca é lotado, muito pacífico e sempre livre de lixo. A natação é fácil com uma praia segura inclinada suavemente. A metade ocidental do quiosque de Mario à foz do rio, perto de Pera, é naturista, fazendo desta uma das melhores praias do Algarve e um crédito para a gestão da praia.

Part of the great beach of Pera. This beach is far from the center, in the big bay, with much less people than the sandy areas near the village.

With ample parking and two well-built boardwalks, access is very easy. When you get there the beach seems to stretch in both directions forever. As a result, it is never crowded, very peaceful and always free of garbage. Swimming is easy with a safe, gently sloping beach. The western half of the Mario kiosk at the mouth of the river, near Pera, is naturist, making this one of the best beaches in the Algarve and a credit to the management of the beach.
