Guincho beach is an Atlantic beach located in the Serra de Sintra alongside the Estoril coast. It’s the perfect destination for surfers and it’s well known for the beautiful Dunas that surround it.

Winter is a great season for experienced surfers and it’s also a dog friendly beach during this time. Because of the strong winds from the north this beach is also perfect for sports like windsurf and kitesurfing.

If you are looking to enjoy a warm beach day, a great idea would be to enjoy this beach during summer time. During summer season this beach is enjoyed by local and international families, friends and surf students.

There is parking lot available, a few restaurants and cafes also.

Guincho beach is a destination you can’t miss when you come to Portugal. Due to the fact that is a beach a little bit away from Lisbon, make sure to catch a cab, bus or rent a car to get here.
