It is the beach in Carcavelos closest to the fort of São Julião da Barra and one of the favorites of many people who want to escape the crowds. At high tide, sand is scarce. At low tide, there are those who have fun exploring the rocks and with a lot of luck, they still find a starfish. The beach has a bar, also called Moinho, with loungers and sofas, ideal for those who don’t want to touch the sand.
