Prefab casitas are the next affordable housing solution. As real estate prices continue to rise I think we’re going to see accessory dwelling units become more popular and widely accepted. In this video I check out a Colorado based company called Studio Shed who has recently announced their plans to expand into Canada and talk about how ADUs can put a dent in the cost of home ownership. As more people see the demand for accessory dwelling units increase I think more companies will capitalize on the potential growth of the market which will lead to more new and exciting housing options.
