We are in the middle of renovating our house in an abandoned Portuguese village. Today, after a short trip to Fundao’s market, the garden gets cleaned up further, a new (kinda) schist wall garden bed gets build and we finally start preparing for the roof build of the main house. I noticed a couple of episodes back you bought a Bluetti or similar multi purpose battery pack to drive your appliances. They are incredibly expensive for their power. Can I suggest you go on you tube and look at Will Prowse an American you tuber. He shows over many videos how to build a simple and more powerful system using very cheap lithium Iron cells from servers that have loads of life left in them. He tears down packs to see how good they are but lately he has scaled up these packs and cheap combined inverters to build something you could run the whole house on easily. Check out his more recent tubes. Hope this is helpful. Going solar fir you in Portugal is a no brainer and you seem to be good with electrics and I’m sure you could easily do this and save shed loads of money. Hope this is helpful.
if you extend your large ridge beam in alignment with the main house, you will have a problem with the slope angle of the tile on the street side, because it will twist the slope

Jasper add a hitch to one of the quads so you can hook up the trailer to it , to use it to pull the trailer around .

The landscaping is coming along fabulous. You will be able to do a big burn down at the other house once summer is over. Best to do it there and not where all the construction will be going on. You have so many good people to help you now. It’s hard doing it all yourself. Many thanks and hugs to everyone.

Could have protected the wooden beam with some of the roof tiles. And yet again, working from the bottom of the list. But improved video work, less dog and more daredevil show.
