Pressure Washing An Abandoned Stone House on my farm in Central Portugal.
Hi guys, I am Alex.
I am an Ukrainian expat who moved to Portugal.
No one in my family ever did any farming, But I discovered that I am very passionate about farming so recently I’ve purchased this 28 hectares Farm in Central Portugal, with the intention to start a small scale farm raising worms, cattle and sheep.
In this little farm I am also planning to build an off grid home, and be as self sufficient as possible, by growing my own food.
I created this channel to share my journey with the world, The journey of a first generation farmer, that is starting with no prior knowledge and experiences.
That maybe all the mistakes that I will make along this journey, and all the fails maybe will help some of you to learn from my mistake and not make them yourself.
I want to bring value and inspire people who are thinking about farming.
I am not a filmmaker or an editor, I am just a simple guy with a camera.

Alex i thought spraying the black moss and it turned green was awesome also great job powering washing but you should wear eye protection when you do that but what really got me was you said we were going to lunch and i was looking forward to see we were having and i got nothing now i sit here hungry
Good job!
OMG the pressure washing has transformed the ruin. It looks beautiful! I don’t know how you intend to finish the walls but the first step in any treatment would have to be cleaning the walls. So you are ahead of the game. The moss or whatever is growing on the inside walls needs to be removed. If it were on the outside, it would add character but inside, not so much. Keep up the good work. Love it!
The walls look nice after pressure washing, but maybe you should be wearing a facial mask while doing this
Hey Alex your walls are beautiful! I hope you can point the stone and keep some of them uncovered in the interior.
hi, yes I like all the staff you are doing and need to be done. I have one Karcher very strong and I clean everything with it
I like how you did a before and after it’s was therapeutic to see you clean 100 years old walls of dirt and rocks it looks great Alex nice and clean now it’s time to clean the floor you did a great job Alex there’s no stop you now keep on cleaning 🌟🤩🤩🤩🍻🍻👍✌️🤙❤️🇵🇹❤️
I think pressure washing the stones is Awesome! It brings back the beauty of the stones! I wish more people would do that!!
Looking so good… take care guys! 🌀💚🌀I love seeing something get clean!
Hi Alex and Dad. You both have been busy again. The power washing is so satisfying, the stone colours and texture is exposed now and what a wonderful sight. Makes the area look bigger too. Angelica over sees your work and she does a magnificent job. Doing so.e plumbing and repairs my self to our home. Had a few cooler wet days, but the weather is warming up again. Supplies…..slow. Work…….getting it done. Stay safe all and have a good weekend.
When the water in the well recovers , will you wash the other room too ? It looks so good .
Vinegar kills mould bleach only bleach’s. vinegar is much cheaper
Finally a see someone doing that in those old houses!!!
Looks very nice!!👍🏻
I would have used sodium hypochlorite spray first then wait 30 minutes and the pressure washing would be easy/less water. Its a personal choice use chemical or chemical free up to the person.
I think a few people get addicted to the pleasure of watching dirt getting pressure washed off – there are a couple of channels on this….the British are as addicted to this as anyone https://www.youtube.com/c/Bournemouthjetwashing/videos
Also would be more advantageous to use a very large Piping Bag to apply the mortar. Would be less obvious and easier to get inside the walls between the stones. Or perhaps a coloured mortar? Best of luck restoring this old beauty. And thx for taking us along with you.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Fabulous Job! Something uniquely satisfying about a cleaning job well done.
Restoring this Old Beauty to its former Glory. Now truly shows just how simply gorgeous is structure once was.👍🏻❤️👍🏻❤️
your building art, take your time.
All the rock walls look beautiful. Amazing
Beautiful Upload friend. keep it up. Thank you for sharing this to us. Greetings from Korea
You and your dad have put a lot of work into the ruin great job
Hi Alex. I love the ruin. Do you know when this ruin was built? Also, does the sheep have a name?
Wow! That turned out great.😎👍🏼
Alex you should be wearing safety glasses to keep things out of your eyes. jet wash the old wood and watch it become new again
After you have pressure washed the stone work and after it has dried. what you need to do is protect the stone work and use WATER SEAL on the stone work. then when it rains the rain will bead off the stone until you get a roof on the building. or put tarps over the walls
You make me laughing…., When you say : "Let's go!" Like we have to join you…. 🙂
I could watch pressure washing for days! great job!
It’s too much of the same thing making the video sooo boring
