Very good information this option is often mentioned but I never got a detailed explanation. Thanks for sharing it was very helpful.
Cons of the fund (500k eu) is that it's more expensive compared to the golden visa via a real estate property investment (280k eu) or in a hotel fund. Though I am unsure of the risks associated with each of these investment products. For me, the best investment is one where I can afford a leave & forget strategy and will have no losses or minimal gains is most desirable.
So much terrific information here but I must say, 2 of those older ‘gentlemen’ were annoying as they interrupted you mid-sentence. The younger men so pleasant. They listened and were thoughtful in their conversations! I don’t know if that is a ‘European male’ thing. My daughter had a boss (from Austria I believe) and she would comment on how in group meetings he was always cutting off the females. Not the guys, just the women. This is in North America. The fellows in the team meetings started to interrupt him, asking him to allow their colleagues an opportunity to complete their thoughts. As a woman watching this, I was getting rather irritated… this no reflection on you or your company. Your videos are fantastic and you are a wonderful interviewer.
I know the Óbidos property. I saw it when it was being built… (I rented a house in nearby Atouguia da Baleia/Peniche). The area is beautiful and the Lagoa de Óbidos is a lovely place for families and those who enjoy an active lifestyle!
