) was “laid off” (due to economic conditions) and not “fired” (due to poor work performance). There is a difference. 2. I’m curious…why the city in Australia
is not mentioned; how healthcare options between Portugal
and Australia varied (cost and services provided). Maybe mentioned in Part 2? 3. FOOD. Ahhh…yes. Being of Italian descent
and having visited Australia 30 years ago—I recall VERY clearly food in Australia (according to my tastes) was severely unpleasant.
We returned w/our daughter about 5 or 6 years ago (she studied in Townsville) and the food in now much improved
…although still sub-par to my Southern European culture. Sorry.
