I don´t think Spain allows you to extend your 90-days visa over a 180 days period, so if that´s the case for Portugal, it´s a huge advantage for them.

Thank you C&B for another great video. We’ve been considering PT for retirement for about 2 years now. While the pandemic has slowed us down (like everyone else 👎🏻) it has given us time to research stuff. I can confirm, this video is very comprehensive for those considering living in PT. Kudos to you both. On the 90-day extension (which is also applicable for EU citizens—as I understand it) have you actually applied this extension thru SEF? My understanding is this org is incredibly difficult so was curious if you’ve applied and what your experience. Cheers. 🎉
