Returning to our Off-grid land we had to abandon – Roadtrip to Portugal: Part 2

The journey to our wilderness retreat continues as we disembark from the ship into Santander.
After a shaky experience through the port we make our way on the long road south down to Portugal so we can finally return to our dream that we had to abandon nearly 2 years ago.

  2. Man your vids are epic! Emotional roller-coaster 🎢.
You have an amazing talent for story telling and film making, also a really lovely voice for narration. So glad you make these beautiful vids, I hope you enjoy the process as much as we enjoy watching them. 🧐🎈

  3. Another cracking video mate, I've never been so invested in a channel and your journey has been so emotional and you've done an amazing job taking us all along for the ride. keep up the amazing work mate. so happy to see you get home finally 😀

  4. Good stuff. You done anything with vehicle matriculation yet? Just been over to see friends who emigrated in Dec. They are renting at Serra, not far from Tomar. Enjoy the orange trees. Warmest regards, Graham Sheffield England
Ps. My friends residency was a nightmare…. They had somthing missing, and then it took weeks to get it come through, in the mean time their visa ran out, so they were in no man's land with vehicles and residency….. But it eventually came through and now they can progress their vehicle matriculation. Its all a bit laid back over there isn't it. At least coffee and beer is cheap in villages. All the best.

  5. Hazel ☘️ …
Warm welcome back to Portugal !

I decided to move from Spain to Portugal in early 2020 … things went downhill badly when lockdown hit and two years late I’m still not there !
But I travel over with caravan mid May … yay … I too am not looking forward to the mountainous roads … yes dreams crushed , including mine … but you’ve made it and I’m a couple of weeks behind you !
Watching you drive has given me the thumbs up that I’ll tackle this with ease ish … so thank you !

I admire the work and commitment that went into a new van build, the trailer build and revamp of Amber … well done !

I’ll be just west of Castelo Branco … anywhere near you ?
    🙏☘️😘
